David Abshire lives on the Olympic Peninsula in the Pacific Northwest. He has written hundreds of stories for his grandchildren about his adventures, and about the curious characters that he has met along the way while discovering interesting things about people and animals and the world we share.  "True Stories by Grandpa" is the first in a series of books David Abshire has published from his collection of stories.
