Have you ever wondered what supplies were needed for ink illustration? The first two sections of this book cover modern ink and its related tools and techniques. These are intended for the student of analog illustration. But, the final section is intended for the adventurous artist that has wondered how our forefathers may have obtained inks for their works. Or, on a more timely note, how might we obtain our supplies in the event that leaves artists with no commercially available supply? This last section could be subtitled, “Eight Inks in Three Weeks”, but the work as a whole is truly “FOR THE LOVE OF INK”.
